Thrown on the wheel and then carved and pierced before being allowed to fully dry. This piece cones with a stabd in the same colour aa shown.
As these are extremely fragile before being fired, so the glaze has to be applied very carefully. It is done in several glazes and multiple layers to achieve this gorgeous purple glaze. It then gets fired to approx 1180deg c
This makes them very tough.
